Straight questions
I also sell on Booking or Airbnb. Does it sync?
Yes, over iCal, in both directions: you connect the Booking or Airbnb calendar, the nights sold there close at your place, and your Convivos nights travel the other way. Feeds are re-read roughly every hour and each platform publishes on its own delay: our zero-overbooking guarantee covers what we know, connected calendars included. What we do not do: push your rates, or take the booking in their stead.
A deposit at booking?
Yes, as a deposit paid straight to you. You set a percentage and your IBAN in the settings. The confirmation email states the amount, your bank details and the reference the traveller should quote, and the booking diary lets you mark the deposit received once you see it on your statement. Convivos collects nothing and never sees the money. Card holds do not exist yet.
I have two cottages and three rooms. Does it cope?
Yes. Each unit has its own calendar, capacity, price and minimum stay. The traveller sees what is free for their dates — and only that.
And if I leave one day?
You leave with everything, with no notice period and no penalty. In self-service, the export covers your traveller list in full and your stays over the last ninety days; the complete copy is requested in writing, and it stays free. Your data is neither held back nor resold — ever.
Is there a commission on my nights?
No, and there never will be. We live on the subscription alone.
